Guernsey Jellyfish Map – Log Your Experience!

Have you encountered a jellyfish while swimming in Guernsey?
Help your fellow swimmers by logging your experience on our interactive map.
- Step 1: Click anywhere on the map where you had your jellyfish encounter to drop a marker.
- Step 2: Enter your name and, if you like, your sea swimming group.
- Step 3: Tell us when you saw it, how many you saw, and select the species if you know it. If you choose Other, you can type in your own answer.
- Step 4: Let us know whether you were stung. If you were, you can also add the sting severity.
- Step 5: Add any extra details you think would help other swimmers, then optionally upload an image of the jellyfish or the location.
- Step 6: Hit the “Submit” button and your marker will appear on the map for other swimmers to see.
Please note that submissions older than seven days will no longer be shown on the map. Each user can only submit one marker per session, so make sure to complete everything before submitting.
Thank you for helping to make Guernsey’s waters safer for everyone.
